Workers' Compensation
Claims Management

If you are hurt/injured and need to report a claim, please call ESD 112 Workers’ Compensation Claims Department at 800-749-5861.

Workers’ compensation pays for approved medical, hospital and related services due to workplace injuries and illnesses, and provides partial compensation for those who are temporarily unable to work full-time.

The Southeast Washington Workers' Compensation Trust is comprised of 18 school districts located in Adams, Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, and Walla Walla Counties. As a member school district, the Loss Control Specialist is here to help your district in this endeavor, and to promote safety and prevent accidents.

Through a partnership established in 2005, a unit of ESD 112’s Insurance Programs serves as a TPA for ESD 123’s Workers’ Compensation Trust, where highly skilled and trained claims adjusters and specialists follow prescribed procedures. Our Trust keeps claim loads low, so claims adjusters can do a thorough job on each and every claim.

  • How to File a Claim
  • Return to Work/Light Duty Programs: Part of a cost-effective Workers' Compensation program is a return-to-work program which enables injured workers to maintain their full wages while performing temporary, less physical tasks while they recover. When released by their doctor, it is possible to complete work outside their regular tasks or department, which helps them recover, build strength, and maintain income. Our claims adjusters will work with member school districts to see what light duty opportunities exist or can be provided.
